LaTeX, computer programming language used for typesetting technical documents. LaTeX is a document preparation system for high quality typesetting. It is most often used for medium to large technical or scientific documents but it can be used for almost any form of publishing. LaTeX is not a word processor, instead it encourages authors not to worry too much about the appearance for their documents but to concentrate on getting the right content.

LaTeX workshop was conducted on 9 th August 2019 in R102 lab. The speaker of the workshop was Ms. Ruchira Patole LaTeX is a document preparation system. The workshops started with a welcome speech by ETSA Technical head Omkar Chauhan. A short introduction was provided by Prof Ruchira Patole who conducted the workshop about the LaTeX software. During the workshop, students were trained to prepare their own blackbook with the help of LaTeX which will help them to prepare their own reports and blackbook for their final year projects. The speaker showed how to make a document using LaTeX, how to add contents, tables and graphical image in the documents. Students were acquainted with the methods to insert any text or images according to them. The speaker cleared the doubts of students regarding dealing with mathematical notations, consistent handling of documents, separation of content and style, spell check and compatibility. One to one attention was given to every student and all the doubts were solved by the speaker. The workshop was a huge success.
