The functioning and learning of SCILAB will be useful to students preparing for placement procedures, and the programming language would also help in future modeling assignments and in specialization, esp. Signal Processing.
Arduino Workshops
With knowledge of microprocessors and microcontrollers to the third year and in learning process of the second year, the benefits of this workshop will be reaped by the students of EXTC. In turn it will also help to augment the technical competence of students.
Quiz Competition
A quizzing session comprising of a question bank of 200 questions from the fields of technical and non-technical topics was organized by the student committee for students of the EXTC Branch. It provided great exposure and insight into the world of questionnaires and enhanced the teamwork amongst students.
Debate Competition
After its inception, ETSA organized its first ever student's event i.e. a debate competition here on Thursday. The event took place at the assembly hall at Pillai's campus. The Debate competition included both Technical as well as NonTechnical topics. The event was a grand success.
LaTeX Workshop
LaTeX,computer programming language used for typesetting technical documents.It is a free software package created in 1985 by the American computer scientist Leslie Lamport as an addition to the TeX typesetting system. It has TeX’s ability to typeset documents that contain complex mathematical equations.
Tree Plantation
The event was organized by the Electronics and Telecommunication Students Association. This is the first event after the organization was revived this year. So taking into consideration the climatic changes due to global warming. The thought of initiating the new journey with a social and Nobel cause.

The Electronics and Telecommunication Students Association(ETSA)-PCE organised an interactive event, 'ETSA Talks' on 23rd August, 2017.The informative sessions by the speakers left the audience entertained and gave them a way forward to improve their careers and life.

Women's Day Celebration
International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8 every year. It is a focal point in the movement for women's rights, ETSA committee on behalf of ETRX and EXTC department organised a small event of women's day celebration for our hard working faculties.
